This wall or bracket mounted unit can produce boiling water usinf 24 volt dc power on a vehicle.

The normal water fill is through a pressurised supply directly into the boiler. This is controlled by a knob on the front and there is a sight glass to indicate the level. Heated water is dispensed from the bottom spout by a red knob while a blue knob controls cold water output. The fourth control is for the temperature.

The temperature can be set to be from tepid to in-cup drink temp (about 84 degrees) by the knob and the units will maintain this automatically. If the knob is turned fully up, then the contents will boil and the power is turned off by steam coming down the vent pipe. This will only come back on when everything has cooled down to a reset level.
